TITLE: Recreation Aid –NF-0189-I

LOCATION: Community Center
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs and/or assist other
staff members in the daily operation of the Community Center. Duties include, but are not limited to, the
following: Assists in the set-up of
scheduled activities, records attendance figures hourly, takes room
reservations, payments for trips and classes, checks out game equipment,
answers telephone and greets patrons as they enter the facility. Collects, safeguards, and deposits fees at
the close of business day. Assists in
conducting monthly inventories. Weighs,
records and collects fees associated with the Federal Express operation. Familiar with and understand Fed Ex
guidelines, proper shipping conditions of packages and other required daily
tasks. Performs other related duties as
assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to safeguard and handle cash. Must have a clear speaking voice and legible
penmanship. Must be able to deal with
patrons in a courteous and tactful manner.
Must have the ability to move and stack packages weighing up to 25 pounds.
